I. Insurance and Rental Agreement
a. Local public interest groups using the Center will not be required to provide an insurance rider if all participant(s) have a current Forest Ranch Community Association membership. No rental agreement will be required for occasional use, but a rental agreement will be required for reoccurring regular usage.
b. Day rental for special events will require a signed rental agreement and insurance rider.
II. Rental
a. Local public interest groups composed of Forest Ranch Community Association members will not be charged.
b. Day rental policy shall remain the same with a members and non-members rate which may be adjusted to reflect market rates but with intent to encourage use.
c. Long term daily (reoccurring) use will be charged based upon the per diem expense of operating the Center (see below) and will have two rates, one for activities that generate a profit, and another for activities that are not expected to generate a profit. Rates to be established by the Board of Directors.
III. Proposed Center Use Committee
The Board of Directors should establish a Center Rental/Use Committee as a sub committee of the Board of Directors to deal with determining the specifics of Center usage, within the guidelines set by the Board of Directors and with periodic review by the Board of Directors. This committee suggests that guidelines be established expressing the intent of the Board of Directors to increase usage of the Center, especially by groups working in the communities interest. This committee recommends that the Center Use Committee be comprised of three (3) members of the Board of Directors
IV. Cost of Operation
Per Diem (daily) cost of operation established by calculating the total of annual expense and the annualized, non-reoccurring expense based upon the July 1, 2006- July 30, 2007 period Actual rental rate to be established by the Board of Directors.
